OMAHA (DTN) -- Strong triple-digit gains continue to hold in the October lean hog contracts at midday. The ability to quickly draw buyers back to the table before the weekend is creating some bullish tones through the lean hog market. Live cattle futures are mixed in a narrow range. Early aggressive losses have been shrugged off despite softer cash trade in the North and weaker beef values. This could lead to a narrowly mixed close for live cattle at the end of the Friday session.
