OMAHA (DTN) -- Additional light support is developing in the feeder cattle futures market Friday morning. The lack of trade volume in the overall futures markets as well as pressure in grain prices has allowed for moderate to sharp gains to quickly develop in nearby feeder cattle contracts. Live cattle futures remain under light pressure with very little additional direction detected Friday following the Fourth of July holiday. Lean hog trade remains similarly light with strong gains seen in July and August futures while deferred contracts are holding minimal losses.
