OMAHA (DTN) -- The narrow but mixed trading range is holding in the live cattle futures market with light gains seen in nearby futures. The pressure in late 2013 contracts is growing as traders are concerned about just how supportive long term demand for beef will be despite the expected tighter supplies. Feeder cattle futures are also mixed, picking up on the same tone seen in the live cattle market. Pressure is holding in the lean hog futures. Lack of additional direction is keeping losses narrow and trade volume light.
