OMAHA (DTN) -- Moderate gains are holding through the live cattle futures market with April contracts leading the charge higher with a 60-cent gain. The nearby contracts are gaining additional attention to see if the recent support can hold through the close, or fade in late-day pressure as seen several times over the recent future. Lean hog futures remain mostly lower, but the pressure seems to be easing at midday, which could allow for a late-day support to gain traction and either minimize losses at the end of the week, or post slight gains Friday afternoon.
