No cash cattle trade today. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base is $0.66 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($115.00-$120.00, weighted average $119.03). Corn futures closed modestly higher, up 4 1/2 in the July, up 4 3/4 in the July, up 4 1/4 in the Sep and Dec.
