GENERAL COMMENTS:

From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: Apr LC, Up 1.80 Jun LC, Up .97; May FC, Up 1.55; Aug FC, Up 2.25; Apr LH, Up 1.77; Jun LH, Up .67. The late-week cash cattle trade was slow in developing. Packers were short-bought but nervous over poor margins and faltering beef cutouts. Late in the day, a few cattle were marked at $147 in Kansas, $1 lower than last week.
