GENERAL COMMENTS:

From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: Apr LC, Up 2.50 Jun LC, Up 2.23; May FC, Up 3.00; Aug FC, Up 3.12; Apr LH, Off .10; May LH, Off 1.07. The cash cattle trade was not tested Friday with buyers and sellers content with trade volume generated earlier in the week. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base compared with the Prior Day's closing weighted average is $0.60 lower ($115.00 to $132.00, weighted average $129.00).
