GENERAL COMMENTS:

No cash cattle trade was reported Tuesday and bids and asking prices are poorly defined. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base compared with the Prior Day's closing weighted average is $0.18 higher ($77.00 to $85.25, weighted average $83.54). Corn futures closed lower, down 1 1/2 in the March and down 2 14 in the September.
