GENERAL COMMENTS:

From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: Feb LC, Off 1.73 Apr LC, Up .32; Mar FC, Up .55; May FC, Off .13; Feb LH, Off .15; Apr LH, Up .78. The cash cattle market remained very slow despite the fact that virtually nothing has been traded through Thursday. A few dressed deals were reported in parts of Nebraska at $232, $5 to $6 lower than last week's weighted average. Yet for the most part, the late-eek cash trade remains untested.
