GENERAL COMMENTS:

From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: Feb LC, Up 1.35 Apr LC, Up .95; Jan FC, Up .62; Mar FC, Up .30; Feb LH, Up 1.02; Apr LH, Up .60. The cash cattle trade was generally quiet thanks to Thursday's explosive action. Nebraska did report a few clean-up deals at $139 live and $218 dressed, the top of Thursday's range. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base compared with the Prior Day's closing weighted average is $0.81 lower ($70.00 to $82.00, weighted average $78.00).
