DTN Closing Livestock Comments

From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: Dec LC, Up .65 Feb LC, Up 1.05; Jan FC, Off .10; Mar FC, Up .37; Feb LH, Off .92; Apr LH, Off .33. Cash cattle trade was fairly quiet Friday, with only a few clean-up deals noted. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base compared with the Prior Day's closing weighted average is 0.27 lower ($63.00 to $78.00, weighted average $76.35). Corn futures closed higher, up 2 3/4 in the March, up 3 in the May and July.
