DTN Closing Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base compared with the Prior Day's closing weighted average is 1.65 higher ($70.00 to $79.00, weighted average $78.23). Corn futures closed modestly higher, up 3 1/2 in the March and May and up 3 3/4 in the July and September contracts.
