GENERAL COMMENTS:

Activity in cattle feeding country was limited to the distribution of new showlists. While ready numbers vary from state to state (e.g., larger in Kansas and Colorado, smaller in Texas and Nebraska), the overall offering appeared to be about steady. Preliminary asking prices were around $133-plus in the South and $208-plus in the North. With Market News closed for Veteran's Day, cash data for live and dressed hog sales was largely unavailable.
