According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed at $85.41 (weighted average), $0.72 higher; the full price range was $75.00 to $88.25. Corn futures closed 8 to 9 cents lower.


Futures closed higher, up 15 to 82. Strong buyer support returned to live cattle futures early Monday.
