DTN Closing Livestock Comments

From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: Oct LC, Up 2.70 Dec LC, Up .95; Oct FC, off .52; Nov FC, off .20; Dec LH, Up 2.47; Feb LH, Up 2.67. A quiet day of cattle trade with just a few clean-up deals reported in the North from $207 to $208. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed at $84.72 (weighted average), $1.15 lower; the full price range was $75.00 to $86.00. Corn futures closed fractionally lower, down 1/4 to 1/2 cent.
