Note impact of government shutdown: USDA's Market News has been indefinitely closed due to a lack of government funding. Hence, most of the price data usually posted on this page in not available (NA). The cash cattle trade remained un-established with just a few scattered bids on the table (e.g., $123 in parts of the South). Some showlists are tagged around $128-$129 in the South and $203-$205 in the North. The closing Iowa hog base is not available.
