GENERAL COMMENTS:

From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: Oct LC, up 2.30 Dec LC, Up 2.32; Oct FC, up 3.90; Nov FC, up 4.17; Oct LH, up 2.87; Dec LH, up 2.05. Short-bought cattle buyers were forced to chase cash prices higher Friday. Trade was particularly active in the North with most dressed sales marked at $200, $4 higher than last week. The Southern trade was slow to develop with many feedlots passing bids of $126. Significant trade in Kansas and Texas could still develop later this afternoon.
