According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed $1.75 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($82.00-93.00, weighted average $92.09). Corn futures closed mixed, down 7 3/4 to 9 1/2 in the old crop contracts, steady to fractionally higher in the new crop.
