According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed 0.98 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($66.00-$81.75, weighted average $80.23). Corn futures closed higher ahead of Wednesday's USDA Supply and Demand and Production reports. May was up 10 3/4, July up 8 and December up 8 1/4 cents.
