Private Exporters Report Soy Sale

OMAHA (DTN) -- Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 290,000 metric tons of soybeans to China. Of the total, 230,000 is for delivery during the 2013-14 marketing year and the remaining 60,000 is for delivery during the 2014-15 marketing year, the USDA said Monday.

The 2013-14 marketing year for soybeans began Sept. 1 and the 2014-15 season will begin Sept. 1, 2014.

U.S. exporters are required to report to the USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 metric tons or more of one commodity made in one day or quantities totaling 200,000 tons or ...
