Private Exporters Report Sorghum Sale

OMAHA (DTN) -- Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 114,300 metric tons of sorghum for delivery to unknown destinations during the 2012/2013 marketing year, the USDA said Wednesday.

The 2012/2013 marketing year for sorghum began Sept. 1.

U.S. exporters are required to report to the USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 metric tons or more of one commodity made in one day or quantities totaling 200,000 tons or more in any reporting period to one destination, by 3:00 p.m. ET the next business day.
