OMAHA (DTN) -- This week's export sales report should be viewed as bearish for corn and wheat, and bullish for soybeans, according to DTN Senior Analyst Darin Newsom.

Weekly export sales of corn showed a total of 1,202,900 mt (47.4 mb), with all for the 2013-2014 marketing year. This was well above the 309,600 mt (12.2 mb) needed this week to stay on pace with USDA's revised demand projection of 1.4 bb. Weekly shipments of 463,800 mt (18.3 mb) were below the 707,600 mt (27.9 mb) needed this week. This report should be viewed as neutral to bearish, Newsom said.
