Weekly Corn, Wheat Exports Bearish

OMAHA (DTN) -- The weekly export sales report was bearish for corn and wheat and bullish for soybeans, according to DTN Senior Analyst Darin Newsom.

Weekly export sales of corn showed a total of 476,000 mt (18.7 mb), with 185,200 mt (7.3 mb) for 2012-2013. This is below the 218,300 mt (8.6 mb) needed this week to stay on pace with USDA's revised demand projection of 800 mb. Weekly shipments of 279,800 mt (11.0 mb) were below the 414,000 mt (16.3 mb) needed this week. This report should be viewed as bearish, Newsom said. Pre-report estimates for corn export sales ...
