FUTURES SUMMARY

Corn closed 5 3/4 to 9 1/4 cents higher, soybeans finished 1 cent to 8 3/4 cents lower (old crop) and 4 to 6 cents higher (new crop), canola closed $3.80 to $4.80/mt lower, HRS ended 11 1/2 to 17 3/4 cents higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

During early afternoon trade, the TSX is 94 lower at 14,671, after posting a higher close over the past four trading days after negative economic data was released in China over the weekend.
