MARKET SUMMARY

HRS gained 7 1/2 to 11 1/4/bu, HRW gained 12 1/2 to 16 1/4/bu, corn gained 3 1/4 to 5 3/4/bu, soybeans gained 5 to 26 cents and canola closed $10.70 to $19.30/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX is down 48 points to 14,506, following a move lower in U.S. markets. The federal government reported a $5.1 billion surplus in February, after $2.2 billion surplus was reported for January.
