FUTURES CLOSING SUMMARY

HRS up 12 to 14 cents, HRW up 13 3/4 to 15 cents, corn closed 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 cents lower, soybeans ended 3 to 9 cents higher and canola finished $3.20 to $6.60/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In early afternoon trade, the TSX is trading 29 higher at 14,562, with U.S. markets mixed. Higher gold and oil prices are supporting the TSX, with gold up $6.70 at $1,291.30/ounce and crude oil up 46 cents to $101.90/barrel. Brent crude is up $1.20 to $110.31/barrel.
