MARKET SUMMARY

Soybeans ended 1 1/2 lower to 6 cents higher, canola closed $3.50 to $4.80 lower, corn closed 1 3/4 to 5 cents higher and spring wheat finished 3/4 cents to 9 cents lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX is posting a modest loss of 8 points in early afternoon trade, leaving the index at 14,393. The Canadian dollar is 42 basis points higher at $0.9087 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index is 0.055 lower, at 80.770.
