MARKET CLOSE

HRS closed 11 1/2 to 13 1/4 cents lower, HRW ended 8 to 14 3/4 cents lower, corn finished 6 1/4 to 11 3/4 cents lower, soybeans closed 7 3/4 to 22 1/4 cents lower and canola ended $2.40 to $2.70/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX is up 40 points at 14,421 in mid-day trade, reaching a fresh five-year high in intra-day trade. The Canadian dollar is 3 basis higher at $.9049 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index is 0.131 higher at 80.380. Gold is $9.90 higher at $1,289.90, while energies are under further pressure.
