MARKET SUMMARY

Spring wheat gained 19 1/4 to 21 1/4 cents, corn gained 1/2 cent to 1 3/4 cents, soybeans closed 6 1/4 to 15 cents higher while canola ended $1.80 to $2.40/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

Prior to the afternoon close, the TSX equity market is 19 lower at 14,349, diverging from U.S. markets which are posting modest gains. The U.S. Federal Reserve announced a further $10 billion cut to the monthly stimulus program, dropping the monthly stimulus spending to $55 billion per month.
