MARKET SUMMARY

May canola is down $4.50/mt, May soybeans are 9 cents lower, May HRS is down 10 cents and May corn is 8 cents lower. The Canadian dollar trade is 38 basis points higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

Asian equity markets closed mixed in Monday's trade, with China's Shanghai Composite up 1% and Japan's Nikkei down 0.4%. European markets are trading higher. The TSX closed down 17 points at 14,228 on Friday, with concerns over weak growth in China and the stand-off in Ukraine weighing on global markets.
