MARKET SUMMARY

Spring wheat ended 9 3/4 to 14 cents higher, corn finished 2 to 4 3/4 cents lower, soybeans closed 3/4 to 20 cents higher while canola finished $7 to $8.50/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

Prior to Friday's close, the TSX was up 19 points at 14,291. The Canadian dollar was 92 basis points lower at $0.9011 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar was .035 higher at 79.7. The Canadian economy lost 7,000 jobs in February, although that level was low enough to keep unemployment unchanged at 7%.
