MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX wheat down 5 to 14 3/4 cents, corn down 5 1/4 to 7 1/2 cents, soybeans ended 6 1/2 cents to 18 cents lower, and canola finished $2.60 to $4.30/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, Canada's TSX equity index is 26.5 points higher at 14,215, following the lead of U.S. markets. The Canadian dollar is 12 lower at $.8967 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index is .153 lower at 80.310. Gold is 60 cents higher at $1,328.50/ounce. Crude oil is 40 cents lower at $102.19/barrel, whole Brent crude is 65 cents lower at $108.87/barrel.
