CLOSING SUMMARY

Corn closed 4 1/4 cents to 4 3/4 cents higher, soybeans closed 6 3/4 cents to 1 1/2 cents lower, hard red spring wheat closed 3 3/4 cents higher to 4 3/4 cents higher, and canola closed $3.50 to $3.90 higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In midday trade, Canada's TSX equity trade is 73 points higher at 14,150 while the S&P 500 is down. The Canadian dollar is 109 basis points lower at $0.9023 CAD/USD while the U.S. dollar index is 0.151 higher at 80.159. Gold is $8.30 lower at $1,316/ounce.
