MARKET SUMMARY

Canola closed $4.50 to $6/mt lower, soybeans finished 4 3/4 to 9 1/4 cents higher, corn finished 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 higher while HRS closed 5 1/4 and 9 3/4 cents higher while HRW ended 2 3/4 to 9 cents higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX equity market is 117 points higher at 13,911. Markets were comforted by new Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen reporting that she will see U.S. monetary policy maintain the current course until U.S. employment data improves.
