MARKET SUMMARY

HRS wheat closed up 1 3/4 cents to 3 1/4 cents, corn closed 1 to 3 cents lower, soybeans finished 2 3/4 to 14 cents higher while canola ended 10 cents to $2.90/mt lower

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX was up 33 points at 13,714, with gains also seen in U.S. markets. The Canadian dollar was 77 points lower at $.9118 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar was 0.129 higher at 80.740. Gold was $7.10 lower at $1,244/ounce. Crude oil was 88 cents higher at $92.68/barrel, while Brent crude was 31 cents lower at $106.44/barrel.
