MARKET SUMMARY

HRS wheat closed 3/4 cents lower to 1/2 cents higher, HRW wheat closed 1/2 to 3 cents higher, canola ended $3 to $4.70/mt higher, soybeans closed 4 3/4 to 6 1/2 cents higher and corn ended 2 3/4 to 3 3/4 cents higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX equity index was down 135 to 13,189, as gold and oil prices weighed on the market. The Canadian dollar was 15 higher at $.9437 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index was .094 lower at 79.870. Gold was $3.90 lower at $1,258.50/ounce. Crude oil was 98 cents lower at ...
