MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX HRS down 1/4 cents to 1 1/2 cents higher, corn futures finished 2 to 2 1/2 cents higher, soybeans ended 4 1/4 to 9 3/4 cents higher while canola closed $ to $1.40/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX is trading 4 points higher at 13,482. Weaker commodities are impacting the market this session. The Canadian dollar is 0.0024 lower at $.9467 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index is 0.228 higher at 80.970. Gold is flat, down 20 cents at $1,243.90/ounce.
