MARKET RECAP

Corn closed 8 to 8 1/2 cents higher, MGEX wheat ended 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 lower, soybeans finished 2 to 5 cents higher while the canola market was closed today.

Outside Markets

The TSX is facing light holiday trade, down 3 points in mid-day trade at 13,375. The Canadian dollar is 11 points higher at $.9536 CAD/USD. The U.S. dollar index is .232 lower at 81.155. Gold is $2 lower at $1,282.60/ounce. Crude oil is 22 cents higher at $94.82/barrel, while Brent crude is 83 cents higher at $105.95/barrel.
