MARKET SUMMARY

Canola closed $3 to $3.80/mt lower, soybeans ended 3 3/4 to 4 3/4 cents higher, corn closed 3 3/4 to 4 cents lower, while HRS wheat finished 1 1/2 to 2 cents lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

Canada's TSX equity index was trading 11 points higher at 13,373 in mid-day trade, following the lead of a more than 100-point gain in the Dow. The U.S. dollar index was 0.222 lower at 80.565, while the Canadian dollar was trading 38 basis points higher at $0.9586 CAD/USD. Gold was $9.70 lower at $1,317.80.
