MARKET SUMMARY

Canola ended unchanged to $.50/mt higher, soybeans closed 5 1/4 to 8 1/2 cents higher, HRS wheat closed 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 lower, HRW finished 3 1/4 to 4 cents lower and corn closed 1 3/4 to 2 3/4 cents lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX equity index was 23 points lower in mid-day trade, leaving the index at 13,417. Both the Dow and the S&P 500 were also showing modest losses.
