MARKET SUMMARY

HRS wheat closed 3 1/2 to 7 cents lower, soybeans closed 9 to 10 1/4 cents lower, canola finished $4.10 to $5.20/mt lower, while corn ended 1/4 to 1/2 cents lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX is up 46 points in mid-day trade at 13,370, following the lead of higher U.S. markets. The Canadian dollar is 29 basis points lower at $.9551 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index is .035 higher at 79.280. Gold is flat, up 90 cents to 1,351.20/ounce. Crude oil is 80 cents higher at $97.91/barrel, while Brent crude is 28 cents lower at $106.71/barrel.
