MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX wheat down 5 to 8 1/2 cents, corn ended 2 1/2 to 3 cents lower, soybeans finished 7 to 12 cents lower and canola closed $4.40 to $5.60/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX has posted a modest gain of 24.5 points, leaving the index at 13,160 in mid-day trade. U.S. markets are slightly lower. The Canadian dollar is 3 basis points lower at $.9697 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar is .007 lower at 79.720. Gold is 80 cents higher at $1,315.20/ounce. Crude oil is $1.43 lower at $99.68/barrel while Brent crude is 23 cents lower at $109.71/barrel. ...
