MARKET RECAP

MGEX HRS ended 1 1/4 to 3 1/4 higher, corn futures ended 2 cents to 7 1/4 cents higher, soybeans finished 5 cents lower to 14 cents higher and canola ended the session $10.40 to $11/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX is down 13.89 points at 12,831.17. Friday's Statistics Canada jobs report surprised to the upside, with 59,000 positions added in August, well above economists' expectations. The country's unemployment rate fell 0.1% to 7.1%.
