MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX wheat closed 4 1/4 to 10 cents lower, corn ended 7 cents lower (Sept) and 3/4 to 1 cent higher (new crop), soybeans ended 3 to 10 1/2 cents lower and canola closed $1.30 to $2.60/mt lower.

Canada's TSX equity index is currently trading at 12,705.06, up 97.84 points in midday trade. More Canadian banks announced favorable earnings which is helping the market.
