Corn closed 13 1/2 to 16 cents lower, MGEX HGRS closed down 1 1/2 cents to up 3/4 cents, soybeans ended down 11 to 21 1/2 cents and canola finished $7.30 to $8.30/mt lower.


Canada's TSX equity index is down 158.44 to 12,601.86 despite positive earnings announced from Canadian banks and higher commodity prices. Global markets are largely lower with heightened tensions in the Syrian conflict. The Canadian dollar is 10 higher at $.9526 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar is 0.261 lower at 81.180.
