MARKET SUMMARY

Soybeans closed 21 to 21 1/2 cents/bu higher (old-crop) and 14 1/4 to 22 1/2/bu higher (new crop), canola closed $.50 to $1.30/mt higher (new crop), MGEX wheat ended 1/4 to 4 1/4 cents higher, while corn finished 7 1/4 to 9 cents higher.

OUTSIDE COMMENTS

Canada's TSX is down 29.23 points at 2 p.m. Eastern Time, leaving the index at 12,499.20. The Canadian dollar is 44 basis points higher at $.9626 CAD/U.S. dollar, while the U.S. dollar has given up .481 points at 82.715. Gold is $7 higher at $1,290.80/ounce, as it moves toward a test of ...
