Wheat futures across the three wheat exchanges closed higher in Monday's trade, with the July Minneapolis future at 8.11 1/4 up 7 1/2 cents, July Kansas wheat future at $7.45 up 7 3/4 and Chicago July wheat future up 2 cents at $6.85 1/4. While spring wheat planting progressed in the U.S. last week, heavy rains over the weekend throughout North Dakota and Minnesota has stalled field work and seeding.
