The Canadian dollar is 26 basis points higher at $.9767 CAD/U.S. dollar. Gold is $22.80/ounce lower at $1,592.70, as investors abandon safe-havens and flock to more risky assets. Crude oil is 12 cents higher at $92.75/barrel, while Brent crude is 79 cents lower at $111.93/barrel. U.S. data pointed to a 1.1 million barrel increase in crude oil inventories, which was below the expected increase of 2.7 million barrels.
