OUTSIDE MARKETS

Canada's TSX equity market gained 18.59 points Tuesday to 12,812.84. The Canadian dollar is 5 basis points lower at $1.0058 CAD/U.S. dollar. The U.S. dollar is .141 lower, currently sitting at 79.975. Gold is up $6.80/mt at $1,693.80/ounce. Gold came very close to testing the resistance of its 50-day moving average at $1,696.50/ounce. Crude oil is trading at its 100-day moving average, at $96.24/barrel, up $.68 for the day. Brent crude is up $.77/barrel at $112.48/barrel.
