OUTSIDE MARKETS

Canada's TSX is 35.42 points lower, with the index currently trading at 12,606.55. The Canadian dollar is 16 basis points lower at $1.0129 CAD/U.S. dollar, while the U.S. dollar is up 0.018 to 79.850. Today's loss in Canada's equity market ends six consecutive days of growth. Gold is $2.40/ounce lower at $1,681.50/ounce. Crude oil is 89 cents higher at $94.17/barrel, while Brent crude is 31 cents higher at $110.61/barrel. Weekly energy data indicated U.S. inventories of crude oil to fall 1 million barrels, when a gain of 2.1 million barrels was expected. Gasoline stocks were up 1.9 million ...
